With the popularity of its 2011 Softail CVO Convertible, Harley-Davidson decided to stick with that flexibility to easily transform between boulevard cruiser and tourer, offering the Switchback for 2012.

The Harley-Davidson Switchback is brand new to the Dyna lineup, and was designed to do exactly what the name implies: "switchback" from tourer to cruiser, or vice versa.

This task is performed by removing the fork-mounted windshield and color-matched saddlebags. The best part? The rider of the Harley Switchback removes these pieces without tools, and in under 60 seconds.

And like all Dyna, Softail and Touring models for 2012, except for the Dyna Street Bob and Dyna Super Glide Custom, the Switchback is offered with the Twin Cam 103 V-Twin.
